Let us connect to your computer.
While you're on the phone with us, follow these steps so your technician can see your screen and help. It takes about a minute, and nothing new is installed on your computer.
Start a support session
Works on Windows 10 and Windows 11 using Quick Assist, a free tool from Microsoft that's built into Windows.
Open Quick Assist
Press Ctrl + ⊞ Windows + Q on your keyboard.
Or click Start, type Quick Assist, and open it.
Enter the code from your technician
Under Get assistance, type the 6-character security code we read to you, then click Submit.
The code is good for 10 minutes. If it expires, we'll give you a new one.
Allow screen sharing
When Quick Assist asks to share your screen, click Allow. If we ask to take control so we can fix the problem for you, click Allow again.
Ending the session
When we're done, we'll end the session. You can also stop it at any time by clicking Leave (or closing Quick Assist). Once it's closed, we no longer have access.
Can't find Quick Assist?
It may not be installed on some computers. Get it free from Microsoft, then go back to step 1.
Get Quick Assist from the Microsoft StoreStay safe
Only enter a code while you're on a call you started with Ekak Tech Solution. We will never call or email you out of the blue asking to connect to your computer. If someone does, hang up and call us.
Before we connect
- Save and close anything private you don't want on screen.
- Stay near your computer during the session.
- You can watch everything we do and stop the session at any time.
Using a Mac or phone?
Quick Assist only works on Windows. Let us know when you call and we'll send you a different way to connect.
